Copyright registration in Canada for a single work typically includes fees and disbursements of no more than about $700 including the Government processing fee. In the United States, copyright registration typically costs at least two to three times as much as in Canada, and depends in part upon the relative value of the Canadian dollar at the time the application is filed. Sometimes a reduction in fees is available where applications for copyright registration for two or more works are filed together.
